24o truble shoot

... but i do have a question hah... for any one willing to help me, here we go...
just got my 240 and its not runnin right... the acceleration is harible... i dont know if its the ricer muffler they had on the car when i bought it or not...
like most 240 owners will agree, its a fixer uper hah...
ok check out the list of things i need to fix:
MUFFLER!
Clutch Fan
Tube Leading To Mass Airflow Sensor
Radiator

If any body has any ideas i'd GRATLY APPRECIATE IT!

... ok one more thing at high speeds my wheel squeaks as if im pressing the brakes, BUT IM NOT! is it the anti-skid?

like i said i dont know... if any one has any suggestions, I'm listening...

If your brakes (your wheel shouldn't be squeaking from the brakes) are seized, you'll know it. Calipers may be seized.

Gonna need more info than "it's not running right..." to solve that one. Need new spark plugs? New distributor cap/rotor? Got hamsters instead of an engine? The list could go on forever, but you get my point.

... my apologies, no hamster hear just a single cam KA...
changed the spark plugs, distributer cap, distributer rotor, cables, and oil filter and of course oil...

got any suggestions mayn?

start with an ecu check, vacuum check, basic tune and get an fsm. you might want to do a flush of the coolant system... experiment but use an fsm. It's your other best friend and zilvia is your girlfriend.

If that pipe has holes in it then your car will run like shit, cuz the MAFS is not metering the air thats comin through the holes.

My buddy had ONE vacuum line unplugged and it misfired real bad at idle and ran crappy.

Replace the tube and you should notice a huge differnce
