ok so my hks hypermax d coils have finally blown and now i'm left with a tough choice on what to buy or do next. when i bought my hks coils there where very few of these cheap coils available. and i'm not to interested in downgrading. so i'm curious to know what you guys would do. i have 4 options in mind.
i can send the hks coils to be rebuilt. the problem is that they are now over 5 years old. they are not in the best of condition and they are old technology. (ie they don't have preload adj.) however the dampning was awsome when they were good.
second would be to get a set of tein super drifts. i have ridden in an s13 with these and they seemed ok but i have not had any long term experience.
my third option would be to go with the stance gr+ 3way's. i have freinds that have the gr+ pro's and they are happy with them but i would love to have the ability to play with the low and high speed bump.
and finally my fourth option would be to just say fuck it and try and save all my pennis for some zeal function d's.
if you have some other coils i should seriously consider then i would love to hear your opinion but at this time these are my top 4 choices based on availability and price.
your opinions are greatly appreciated. i know these types of threads usually get shit on. i was trying to put this into the polls area but i guess i'm not allowed to start a poll. anyways i've put my flame suit on just incase.
edit: also should mention this car is basically a track car. i do daily it once in a while when the weather is just right but ride quality isn't high on my priority list. and also b/c some people might be curious my hks coils were 2400 new and will cost like 900-1200 to be rebuilt.
