I have searched but can't come up with any good answers I am going to be running 15 for drifting. I will not upgrade my tire size yet for the sole purpose of poorness so that is not an Issue. With a sohc motor. I have auto x before and touge for a while, skill is not a problem but I have noticed when I try to slide the car with my current setup In mid drift My ass will loose to much traction slide backward sometimes. I have run 205's before with es100 and never had problem probobly cuz they were sticker, since I have downgraded for sliding purposes. My current setup is 195/55 their hankook k106 some cheap shit. So my question is what company is good to run up front with 205/55, also what should I upgrade the rear to...? School me so can get decent setup :2f2f:thanks..

if your poor, buy used tires, 15s should be plenty and cheap

1.) find somebody local who works at NTB, Firestone, etc
2.) "bro, grab me some 15's and/or set some aside when you pull them, that'd be so cash"
3.) be a total dick and ask for free mount/balance too

Thats exactly how it worked when I worked at firestone. I would see some good tires, call up a buddy with the same size tires and say "hey, got 4 good 225/45/17s (or whatever) with 50% tread. 100 bucks man."
Used tires are cheap, easy to find, and most importantly...
Well, they're cheap and easy to find. lol

If you are gonna just practice sliding, try out the Federal 535SS (not the more expensive 595SS). The Federal 535SS is super cheap and has pretty average drift control, plus its a good "stepping stone" for the stickier 595SS.....

535's are a little pricey, even though they are a budget tire.
Diamondbacks are even cheaper. I used those once and it lasted me an entire weekend. haha. SUPER slick though.
I like 205/50/15, but definitely get good tires for the front.
