Ok, after doing some searching and REsearching. i've decided i'm going to run a 255/60/15 Mickey Thompson D/r on my S13 Coupe. I will have these tires mounted on a 9" Wide Rim. and the car will have rolled rear fenders, and most likely pulled fenders.

Should this be good for me? Car will be a street/strip car. I just want to make sure that these will fit on the car. Right now it has 205/55/15's on a stock body Coupe. well with the wheels i'm getting widened from 7in to 9in.

Only other thought of tire size is a 275/50/15 (any issues there?)

Thanks Zilvia.

if your wondering why i need/want a Drag Radial it's going on a 400WHP S13 Coupe.

What type of racing are you planning on doing?...

Roadcourse?
Drag?
Drift?

or messing around on the street?...

Did you even read his post?

Seriously.

What else would someone be doing if they are running DRAG RADIALS.

You could run that size.

Just roll your fenders.

Offset is more important.

You don't want to hit the fender or the shockbody.

Thats what i am worried about, seeing how i am sending the wheels out to either weldcraft wheels or RB Motoring to have them widened. i'm not sure what offset to say to get. Right now there a 15X7 w/ 0 offset

I think a 275 is going to be tough to fit on the rear regardless of wheel offset on fenders with only a roll or slight pull. You might want to stick with the 255 Mickeys.

upon more searching i really think thats what i am going to do.

i've seen 255's on a 7" rim, that should be fine right?

My old 7 inch rims had 205's... Id think the 255's would sit nicely around the rim... as in the rim would sit inside the tire. No air there.

Gorilla glue them on?
