my friend blew his motor in his s13 auto, and will let me get it for tha low.
it has power everything, sunroof, all that good stuff. just a thrown rod from a 95 engine(not sure why they did an auto swap???)

i already have an s14 that i am very close to turbo'ing..

then one night i was thinking, why turbo my only car when i could just buy another one and fix for not much money, then boost it, and make my s14 a sexy daily:wackit:

only thing that wouldnt want me to do it is lack of storage, and small things like that

but, on the other hand, ive always wanted a project car that i wont have to worry about rushing and having to drive to work, school, etc.

what do you guys think?

you should get a practical daily and build the s14. 240's suck for daily.

i say no, why? because you will only end up modding both of them and then you would have 2 edless money pits and no daily

nah im good about spending my money on just one thing.. i wouldnt have a problem with modding the 14 if i had the 13

and i love having it as a daily, gas mileage is alright, and it drives pretty good

i dont have the money to buy a dependable daily, if i decide to get this one, then i'll already have one

Ive said to myself many times that i wouldn't mod my s13 at the time i had it with my s14 and i ended up moding it. Its kinda hard not moding a daily 240sx considering it sucks in stock form.

get a anything 4wd for a daily, you'll love it when the winter comes around.

i have to disagree. 240's are great daily cars the stock seats are pretty comfortable (even though many hate them) Also if you have cruise control/ac/ decent headunit and your good to go:bigok:
what else would u need in a daily all its job is to take you from point A to point B

My S14 with tein flex is still a great daily driver. I recently got a stock S13 and it even feels better.

I say get it.

i would love to have a stocker with nice wheels as a daily and then a much more angry one for weekends and whoring out at the track. My 240 is a daily, it rides shitty but screw it. its fun

Buy it. If in the event it starts to be a money pit that is too great, sell it to someone stupid and make all your money back

I daily my S14 in the summer months... while I mod my 4x4 then I daily my 4x4 in the winter months while I mod my S14... :naughty:

I have a friend that dailys a G35 coupe year round just puts big snow tires on it in the winter.

I would totally daily my s14 year round if I didn't like having ground clearance in the winter so much.

it all depends what your goals are.

having two 240s is rather foolish unless you have different goals for each of them. I know lots of people with a 240 setup for track use and another for daily driving/cruising.

having a 240 dedicated for daily use is a good excuse to gut the interior/cage/etc your other one.

I just picked up a sr20 s13 and I like it soo much I really want to get another one bone stock. This way I can slam it and put some sweet wheels and crusie it daily with out having to worry about smashing my greddy sump pan or ripping my 3 inch greddy exaust off :cj:

Then im going to love the look on the cops face when he pops the hood and its bone stock!!!!

P.S. I live in Cali I dont know if you have that gay ass problem with the cops where you live

A 500 dollar pipe!

I'm not going to lie I slammed the sr already it just did not feel right dragging that much money around town.

So I lifted it back up.

well daily-ing a 240 isnt bad. but i tell you now, you will end up modding it. your gonna hate the feel of stock ride, so youll change the wheels to avoid getting coils. then youll say il change to shocks and springs if my stock suspension goes. then you can just see where it goes from there. " ACCIDENTAL UPGRADES " youll replace stock parts for something after market.

get something 4 door.
daily 2 door car? dont get me wrong s13 hatch has great trunk space, but what if you have to go out with more than 2 people.

i bought a 4 door integra auto as a daily. only mod so far is brighter set of headlights. other wise its my just my test subject learning how to do body work.

Show me pics of your first 240

Then I'll tell you if you should buy a second

Rule of thumb always have only ONE project

Two projects puts effort in two places, usually resulting in two so so cars

If money is not object sure

But if your first car isnt "DONE" then I wouldn't

Maybe to clean and flip but thats about it

my s14 isnt in bad shape, megan exhaust, headers, nismo suspension, electric fans.

only thing it needs is a paint job, and i paint cars at school so i can do it for the price of paint..

i dont have any pictures tho
