Firstly, this isn't a street race, that is some stupid crap. Once Union Grove track opens up again for the spring me and this kid are going to race. He is really cocky, and makes fun of imports all the time, so I decided I'll race him since he always bugs me. His car is stock (Series 2 3.8 V6 200hp automatic), my car has Injen intake, NGK Plugs, and 2.5 inch piping w/high flow cat to Apexi N1 muffler (automatic also). I also removed the spare and jack for weight reduction. Is it possible that I can win? What are some free/cheap things that I can do to help out my times?

I think there's an FAQ here on cheap/free mods but I'm too lazy to check.
IMO, you should tell the guy to **** off and not waste your time. Personally I think anybody that is as lame as this guys sounds should just be ignored. If he says your a pussy or whatever for not racing, just further proves how lame he is.
Man, highschool was great...

Driftin, no SSE's are not supercharged (SSEI's are supercharged). Its a N/A 3.8 liter v6. Bonnevilles are heavy also.
DSC-I'd like to ignore him but hes a real ***hole, and stuff is getting arounds school. I'd like to finish him off and shut his mouth.

Yeah they weigh almost 3800lbs and have 205hp. If you get a clean launch, you should be able to take him. The SSE's don't have very good mid and high range power. I was on the freeway with my friend in his 91 T-bird with 140hp, from a 40mph roll, the Bonny was barely pulling on us, maybe had a car length on us at about 70 ( pretty slow, huh?) You would get spanked by an SSEI though, I've driven one before, and they are mad fast yo.

you've got to ignore people like this, wether you can win or not is moot; I mean why waste your time w/ someone you don't like? Because he irritates you? That's why I avoid ppl, let him think what he wants.

Righttt what I really need is a Motec System exhaust and some 13 inch 100 spoke gold rims, with a fat Powered by Nissan sticker on my hood (thats good for atleast 13 hp). J/K
Seriously, I'd like to walk away from him, but I can't. I'd like some genuine advice on how to improve my times. Would removing the backseat temporarily make a difference? Are there any simple ways to add HP for cheap besides the FAQ'd info?
The launch sucks with automatic, I can only brake torque to 1900 rpm before my tires spin. Any suggestions?
