I always like to clarify that i did in fact search not only here, but other resources as well... Couldn't find an answer, so here goes.
Anyone know if the B&M short shifter for the SR comes with the stock thread pitch, and if the TWM or Nismo GT shift knobs would screw right onto them? I know they both are screw-on type, just wondering if they are all the same thread pitch. Thanks for your guys' help.
PS: The SR and KA shifter thread patterns are the same correct?

not 100% sure but pretty sure there the same. I mean it would make sense? but things that should make sense usually dont.
I'm not very helpful
but my buddys got an integra that he swapped a Skunk2 shortshifter into and his stock knob fit perfect, and hes had like 3 different knobs and never had a problem getting um to screw on.

I have a Nismo GT Titanium shift knob on B&M short shifter on my s13. Yes, it fits perfect. There are 2 different types, 12mm and 10mm. What you need is 10mm. Yup! KA, SR and RB share same shifter.

Or watch out, I had one of those ebay knock off B&M, and you could only use their knob on it, the thread pitch was different. Stock would work too because of it's plastic threads but I had tried another knob I knew fit on 240's and it didn't work.

Strange, I've had my stock knob and several of the knobs I sell on mine without issue.

The replica B&Ms are made by numerous sources, some are M10, some are SAE thread. It's the luck of the draw.

so if I could mildly hijack, on a related subject I swear, the conclution of this thread is that the 240sx's shift knob threads are metric 10mm and the same on USDM and JDM and one version of the B&M?
So if I went to a hardware store and bought a m10 nut it would screw right onto the shaft....
alright, ignore the easy jokes :-P
thanks for the info people

Should be M10x1.25 IIRC.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'll be using the real B&M, dont care for fakes too much and the real deal aint too expensive. Is the Nismo GT weighted? I've heard yes and no... can anyone that has it confirm ya or nay?

It is weighted, but it's not like "heavy".
It's also covered by like a rubber substance (probably is just rubber) so you don't burn your hand in the heat.

That I do not know. I didn't weigh any of them. Just felt them on my hand, and also felt them installed on a B&M shifter.

I like the fact that it is rubber coated, I live in hot ass AZ. Anyone know the weight of it? Their site doesn't say.
