I have a jdm s13 front end and wanted to attach a 1990 pig noise lip to it and was wondering would 3m double sided tape or super glue plastic fusion which says "holds up to 4,000lbs per square inch" be better, also i am zip tieing the side holes
is there any other opinions on attaching the lip,and would be using the 3m double sided tape be strong enough to hold the lip by itself i do not want my lip to fall off on the freeway lol
thanks for ur advice

Tape hands down. But make sure you get the heavy duty outdoor stuff.
The glue would work, but then if you ever needed to remove it, repair it, etc, it will be hell to get it off. It will also leave a terrible residue.
I've had no complaints using double sided tape and zip ties

Good idea, thats until you bottom the lip out on something. I'd use screws on it first, zipties is another option since it wont be visible, 3M tape would be the last option just cuz of all the abuse itll have to handle.

When I had mine, I used good 'ol nuts and bolts. It will never look droopy if you do that.

are you trying to get a flat if that ish falls off??? i riveted the bottom under the lip put a washer behind it and it didnt go anywhere. im sure double sided tape wont work for long unless your car isnt that low.

zipties..... it's flexible and if the lip have to go it'll..... 3m tape won't work it's not strong enough. I have zipties since 2003 and it's still hold perfectly and it doesn't look bad, the only zipties you can see are on the extensions.

On mine, I drilled a hole every 6" or so and put a solid nut and bolt. No tape and no sag whatsoever. Very tight, and arguably even tighter than stock.

zipties and tape or bolts

10mm bolts on each end
self tapping screws or zipties in between
3m auto double sided tape is strong as fuk. but would easily rip off if you hit a cone or hit a parking block.

i use meduim size zip ties. the ties break before the lip does on speed bumps or roadkill or whatever you whack.

take the time to drill holes and mount it proper using nuts and bolts, cutting corners is only gonna make your lip sag or inevitably hav it rip off and risk causing the car greater damage

I used 3m tape to help hold the skirt on and use clear goop . it took care to seal the top edge where water comes in. stainless steel screws on the ends. any other screw rusts. I had to use a ton of masking tape to hold it tight until it dried. i guess some super heavy duty tape would have been better.
My skirts were originally held on by heavy duty tape. water leaked in and deteriorated the tape.
