Ok These are custom front Housings for Koni/Ground Control setup with a lowered perch and powdercoated Silver. You would easily spend more setting up a set of strut housings like this. no longer for sale because cheap asses don't know a good deal when they see it.

wow.. are these the ones veilside makes? maybe if i didint need to fix my car i would buy these.. if i remember correctly doesnt he charge 3xx for strut housings... bump for a good deal. - kouvang

these are Veilsides housings.They were like a early design. They were made for Yellows . You cannot beat this price though. I mean for this price your pretty much splitting hairs. If they were Veilsides though would be selling for a lot more considering he sells them for 3x this price.

What's the difference between veilside's version 2 housings and these? Are these an exact copy?

these are not Veilsides housings. They will work with the 86XX's though.
Are the tops of your housings threaded for the koni gland nuts?

Also, the depth of the housing is different than that required for the standard koni sport, you need 11.42" of depth and a minimum I.D. of 1.71" for the typical 86XX insert that are used on the 240.

These are for Yellows and for this price they are a steal.

Agreed, these are a good price, and I just wanted to make sure that someone wasn't getting these thinking that they'd work with a 86XX insert.

FWIW, if these did come from Richard... then these were originally mine, and he modified them to work with GC hardware for someone else.

They did and I bought them from Fromxtor with Koni Yellows in them. I have the hardware to make a full threaded tube so thats why I am selling them. Otherwise I would run them myself.
