The strut bar is used to stiffen up the the front stuts/shocks. Its creates understeer. The rear sway bar is used to create more oversteer. There is also a front and rear tiebar and a rear stut bar.

sway bar, anti-sway bar, anti-roll bar all refer to the same item. It's a bar made of spring steel that attaches firmly to the lower control arm on both sides at one end of the car, and is mounted to the chassis in a way that allows it to twist. A sway bar attempts to keep the car level by making it harder for one side to move without the other... it takes some of the 'independence' out of the suspension.

a strut bar/brace or strut tower bar/brace is a fixed structural member that holds the tops of the struts in place relative to each other, which makes the chassis less flexible. Unlike the sway bar, it's NOT a suspension part, it's a chassis/structural part.

Not always. It makes the chassis more rigid, which can have different effects on the handing depending on the suspension geometry. It doesn't stiffen the struts, it stiffens the chassis.

The rear sway bar is used to create more oversteer. There is also a front and rear tiebar and a rear stut bar.

A rear swaybar can have different effects on the handling depending on the existing suspension. Generally, a larger rear swaybar than stock will dial in oversteer at the limit. All S13s and S14 SE/LE models have rear swaybars from the factory, though, and they still tend towards mild understeer.

Additionally, just about any car you can buy today will have a front sway bar, which can also be replaced to tune the suspension. Generally a larger front bar will make the car corner flatter and increase the handling limits - even if it causes the car to understeer at the limit.

There are strut bars for the front and rear. And there are sway bars for the front and rear as well. It's not strut bar = front and sway bar = rear.
