Hi new guy here. (don't know much) I have purchased Ichiba wheel studs for my s13 but they aren't long enough to clear my 9'' wide wheels and 5mm spacers. If I don't have the spacer in the wheel will rub against the spring/strut. Other than putting a set of steelies on the car is there anything I can do to fix this?

What length did you buy?
I just bought some 45mm Ichiba studs and use them with a 10mm spacer on my R33 wheels(17x9) and they work just fine.

Not long enough if he cant even run 5mm spacers...

You can fit 10mm spacers on stock studs, so you probably have storter then stock studs. LOL

I have 10 mm spacers on stock studs with a 18x.9.5 rim.

Is it safe? Fuck no.

Does it fit? Fuck yea

Should you do it? Nah

I know for a fact they are 80mm studs.(I measured them) My friend that is helping me with the car told me that we need at least another 30mm for the lug nut to be properly threaded I spent all day today searching for a company/supplier that has 12x1.25 in AT LEAST 110mm but after contacting ARP and Ichiban and not getting anything longer than 92.25mm and Nismo isn't getting anywhere close to what we need I think I'm just going to go to the machine shop with my wheels and hubs and have them take off enough material to make these fit. Appreciate your help.

Are you sure you installed the studs correctly? As in, are you sure they are pulled all the way through the hubs?

Because if you don't pull them all the way though the hub, I can see why "it's not working".

GOOD NEWS! The reason I was running the spacers was because they would knock up against the strut/spring combo I was running but now that I installed my coilovers I can run the studs without the spacers and have no clearence issues. All there is to do now is get the car alligned and have some fun. THANKS!!!
