well my car has a slight tick so i pulled off my valve cover to check if i had play in the rockers which would be lifters...i couldnt find a problem so i put it all back together hooked up the coil pack harness and what not and went to fire the car and all it does is backfire...i cleaned the spark plugs and pulled them back out and only the coil pack closest to the firewall has spark....and my coilpack harness is only a month old from heavy throttle!!!wtf!!! any help is great....thanks alot

hey man i aint no genius so dont dawg on me but did you check if the other coils were getting it 12 volts. now i was thinking it was probably the ground which it gets from the ecu but since one is firing it could just be it not getting it 12 volts. you can check by back probing it at the harness and shit. and just to make sure there good switch one of the ones that aint firing to the one thats firing to see if its good. you know simple shit. if it helps let me know later
