08-03-2008, 01:47 PM
could we have a single door bar? or is it scca rules for that? (requireing either an x door bar, or nascar bars?) just looked through your website and couldnt find it.

For this event x door bar is more then enough for tandem.

so we cant run htm with out a cage???
Monstorfab
08-04-2008, 12:19 PM
Brian send me a photo of your door bar and I'll make a decision based on that. We just want to make sure everyone is safe in case of contact being that balcony is a low speed course. As for horse thief mile
We are going to be running a tandem event, So those of you who know the track can understand the importance of a cage (i.e Roll overs, Drop off ). We all want to have fun and be able to compete.
Brian
08-04-2008, 12:34 PM
Trust me.
My cage is good enough for All Star Bash (which is THE best thing in USA drifting by the way), so it is fine for everything.
But, I don't have my new cage in my new car yet, so no pics... unless you want to see my old car and cage. New cage will look the same.

Brian your good to go>>>>>. Are you putting in another bolt in or a welded cage?
Monstorfab
08-04-2008, 12:59 PM
The way we structured the event there will be a lot of track time for all of the drivers.
Brian
08-04-2008, 12:59 PM
Bolt in Cage.
safety21.
This is drifting. There is no need to weld a cage in. I mean.... we are sliding cars around a track.

This sounds cool. The problem is, most of the drifters in socal that are willing to do a whole series are already in a series. With all the events going on lately, its hard to hit them all. Hopefully it works out but It would definetly work out better if you waited till the other serie's (ie. just drift, pro am feeders, etc) were over for the season.
Monstorfab
08-11-2008, 11:16 PM
We are in the process of hosting a Pro Am event. We are lookingto go national with our series this is just the beginning for us. There will be more details on our site as soon as the details unfold.
DUBCITY
08-11-2008, 11:30 PM
i think this is actually a good time to start a season. most other series are just about ready to round up, so people that didnt have their shit together earlier in the year and start. it's also nice that summer will soon be over, shits hot out there
Brian
08-11-2008, 11:40 PM
so... 40 drivers PER CLASS?
or 40 drivers TOTAL?
YoungGun
08-12-2008, 12:40 AM
MMM I kinda want to go to this.
How do you know what run group you are in? I would like to try advance but would probably sign up intermediate haha.
Will the course be set up with hay bails?
Monstorfab
08-12-2008, 01:56 AM
40 drivers total. If we get more than 40 drivers we will carry the event over to the next day allowing ample opportunity for each driver to get track time in. which we will move one class and and team tandem to the next day. As for track set up we will be using some of the hay bail and cones for clipping points and direction.
mangoes
08-12-2008, 02:13 AM
so this event will feed into pro am nationals for this year or next year?
Monstorfab

we are in the works. looking forward to holding a pro am event. we are working on the logistics.

Monstorfab
