so im tryin to get an lsd. dont know which one so ya wats the difference between lsd and vlsd

lsd stands for limited slip differential there are different kinds of differentials one being a viscous limited slip diff. which is a VLSD then there are HSLD 2 ways 1.5 ways 1 ways etc.

there is no best by any means there are different setups for different applications


try searching some more and decided what you want to do with the car

it reallie depends on what your driving daily or wat you want to be doing.

daily is good with 2way, vlsd, open.
if your donut happy get welded.
if u want to autox get lsd 2way or 1.5 most ppl will tell you get 1.5.


i think ne thing beats open and welded tho.
if you just want to do donuts all day long then welded is for you.

i was able to canyon with just open fine. thats juss for grippin reallie.
vlsd would b nice on canyon.

Lies.... Welded Imo is the best. My reasoning is its 100% Predictable. No matter what you do its always locked and locked 100%. Also you get to be cool and chirp around U turns when dailying:werd:

well i heard most of D1, JGTC, ghymkhana, auto-x, and Formula drift all run open diffs, so you should probably stick with ur open diff. best of luck broooo
