Hey guys, i am going to pick up a z32 MAFs (out of the car), is there a way i can check the working condition of it, like resistance? Thanks for the inputs.

just put it in the car and see what happens lol

Put a voltmeter to it.

Touch the terminals and if the MAF is good you'll get a 12v signal that goes smoothly through the MAFs prongs.

I thought MAF had 5V signal.

Set the voltmeter to 12v...

It's been a long time since I've used a voltmeter, but the voltmeter will send out it's own 12v, and it will pass through the prongs.

thanks, thats on-car testing, how about the MAFs is out of the car, no voltage pass through? Thanks

that is off car as well, the voltometer creates the 12v charge.....

No, that's how I tested it off the car, you can make your voltmeter create a 12v constant.

Hmm...I wanna test my N60 Maf too.

So does the "blow into the Screen and the voltage should change" Still apply even not in the car??
