DESCRIPTION: Wanna turbo your KA and not use a SSAC manifold? Get this. I'd go for a ceramic coating before putting it on, just because it's been unused for some time. You'll need an on-center turbo to clear the shock tower.

I'm contemplating keeping it for that very reason, but I don't need another project car.

And btw, for those that keep PMing me; You check if a manifold needs on on center turbo or not by putting it in the mounting position and seeing whether or not the turbo will clear the strut towers.

In all honesty, as long as it's not SSAC, I think you're good to go. I want to keep it, but work hasn't paid us in over a month due to overspending on their budget, and I'm one of like 6 employees left there that will get paid once the new budget hits. I'd keep it otherwise.

Since you have the same manifold, can I ask what turbo you used with your setup?

I have a Garrett T3/T04 Hybrid turbocharger. No issues with clearance, clears the BMC just fine. To be on the safe side I have exhaust wrap on the Turbo pipe and around the BMC just to keep the temps in check. Other than that, pulls like a beast at 7psi (for now :2f2f:). GLWS!
