Hey all, its hard(for me anyway) to find a real nice set of rims that would look good on a 97-98 240. I would LOVE to be able to get 18" RO_JA Formula 5's but I'm afraid that might be too expensive. I was thinking that everyone could post pics of their rides with the rims in clear view so people can get an idea of what looks good on 240s. Thanks all, Merry Christmas, and I hope to see lots of pics.

well, heres my pics...even though i have an s13. i know the photo is kinda crappy, and the car looks like its jacked up, but when i have the 240 dropped, body kit & type x wing put on, and painted it'll look like a million bucks, or something close to it. anywho, i've got 17'' Konig Verdicts in black opel. Looks really nice in person. I like the Opel effect on a darker car.

they are the same. kosei made them for buddy club in the USA and they were rebadged in Japan iirc.

you can get koseis thru tirerack now i think..dont know.

ah, actually its the stock color. paint held up well. its just the lighting there.

i hate the burgundy. its going next year. primer black for a bit then the real paint job. hope to do most the prep work myself w/ some friends. dont care about dings or dents it already has, not a show car. grant knows what color hehe..

Tirerack is the exclusive distributor for the Kosei K1, IIRC. They no longer carry 4 lug 240SX sizes. Just when I wanted to buy some they can it. Nice :rolleyes:

Thanks man! I appreciate the comments...I've had doubts about it recently because of the FWD offset and such, but I love the design so much and it was within my price range, so I bought them! :) And I don't think there's anything wrong with Konigs...:)

Then you probably have not laid eyes on many S13's. My car looks ok in pics, horrible in real life. It smells like mildew, paint is crap (primer black can only take you so far) and the front end is all misaligned with no front headlight piece).

Kosei K1's same wheel different sticker. 160 each on tirerack. They are 17x7.5. They are ok but I want 8's. They will only take up to a 225 with out rolling the side wall.

What's your offset on your wheels uuninja? Only when I turn and there's a major dip or decline in the road, causes the tire to rub the wheel well. I have +43 on my 5zrs with 235/45 and it comes close, but doesn't rub most of the time..

Blitz, it all depends on your offset bro. i have 17x7.5 velox novas with +42 and it fits fine. i actually want to put spacers on there and get them closer to the fenders. anyone wanna buy my velox?!

so you would recomend more than +42 offset? or does the offset depend on the rim? yea, sounds like you are looking for the same effect as me, kinda drift orentied...when i thought about it, the phrase "fill" the wheelwell didn't really make since, because then you think diameter, i meant i want the rim to be at the fender, i don't want them to be shallow like the stock S13 and S14 rims, im looking to really change the stance of my car, since im not happy with it, haha...i have a good friend with a 91 MR-2 Turbo with coilovers and 17's and it scars me when he pulls into my driveway:D thats what im looking for;)
