I have a aftermarket temp gauge, i was wondering what size/thread adapter fitting i need for it to use the sensor in the stock location. Its a Auto meter gauge, so i believe the sensor itself is 1/8 NPT.
This is a 95 KA btw.

there is no link. with your autometer coolant guage kit there should be a "bushing" that's 1/8 npt in the middle of it so the autometer sending unit can screw into that, and the out side of it is threaded as well. basically grab that bushing with a pare of vise grips and grind off the threads all the way around the outside of it till it's smooth. then put the bushing in a vise and get a 12mm x 1.25 die and create your new threads on the exterior of the bushing.
take out your stock coolant temp sending unit and install your autometer sender and bushing.
do not use teflon tape to seal the threads on the sending unit and the bushing to the intake. use teflon GOO. you can get it in the plumbing section of home depot. you need the side of the bushing/sender to make contact with the intake manifold so that it can ground itself out, that's why i'm telling you to use the goo and not the tape
