I just finished installing my rebuilt S14 SR20. Let me tell you, I was not expecting to see such awesome gains from a ported head. This engine builds boost like a mofo. We ramped the boost gain down quite a bit on the EMS for the final tune and what you see in the graphs, however the engine was able to make 18psi @ 3400RPM.

Needless to say I think porting the head on the SR is well worth it. It really lets the engine breath which by the results looks like it will make some good jam. The torque numbers are also huge! Almost [email protected]!

My luck did run out as the engine is SMOKING like a diesel truck under load. Turns out the valve seals are bad. Ill be fixing that shortly and hope to make some pulls at 20psi to see what happens.

Mods include:
JE pistons 9.0CR
Eagle Rods
HKS metal headgasket
ARP STUDS
Tomei 256poncams
Fully ported head by Headgames (out of NJ) w full ferrea valvetrain.
Garrett 2871R .64 3-inch exh, yada yada

Im confident this engine will make 400whp at 20psi.

That's pretty badass.

And when you say the complete story will be in MM, you mean your car will be featured?
