NIIICE! Im Jelious, your car is more modded then mine now. Its go time!

Did you ever get those Replica DoLuck Ladder bars to fit. I got the front one on my s13 with ABS and Hicas, its was a PITA compared to my Coupe. I still havent even made a good attempt at installing the rear one becuase it looks like there is now way it will fit. But if you know how to make it fit let me know :)

looks good. but the rears look lower then the front..at least to me it does....

nice though. very nice. trade you for my HEs haha..

I haven't installed the front ladder bar yet. The rear will not fit. The end plate is rotated about 20-25 degrees around the plate from where it would have to be to fit. I even grinded the crap out of it, and no luck.

dousan - you are correct. I was wondering if anyone would notice. It's not as bad now as it was when I first put them on. I've actually raised the rear about 3/4 -1 inch. need to bring it up another 1/2 to 3/4 to get them even.

btw, heres a mod list. hadn't posted one of these in a while.. :)

i like your modification list. well done. very well done.

adjusting coilovers is a pain. especially if you are anal and perfectionist like i am. takes forever. need a corner balance though. that would be nice...

my one beef on JIC..i wish they made the frotn adjustable at the top of the shock as the rears are. other then that i like them a lot.

actually I like having the adjutment on bottom. you don't have to pop the hood. just turn the wheels out, and your done. very easy access. also they are inverted struts so putting adjustment on top is very difficult if not impossible right? Adjusting them is a pain.. It's actually easier just to disconnect them from the LCA, and then spin the lower mount.

I will be getting the car corner balanced before my next track event at VIR. I wanna get the Nismo wheels and hoosiers on it for that. My roommates aunt works at Charlotte Scale.. So I got the hookup. :)

Wow, what bank did you rob? Didnt know you had that many mods. Are you keeping your 4 Lug setup for the 17x9? I didnt think you could do that, even with the right offsets. Also, how you like the Nismo GT knob, i was thinking of getting one when I win the lotto. :)

Install that Ladder bar man, its ez and makes a very nice effect on the suspension.

Notice the ratio of engine mods to suspension mods? That's how it should be done :)

stayin 4-lug.. the Nismo's are 4 and 5 lug.. so if I wanted to go to 5 lug for whatever reason, I could.. or I coud put them on an S14 as well.

Thanks Transient..
I still need a set of nice sway bars.. I've been debating on if I wanna save up for the Cusco's. They look sweet. Maybe some poly subframe bushings in the near future as well.

Things I still want:
300zx brakes
NAMS Fender bars
Doluck rxb
Roll cage (will have to be custom b/c the autopower doesn't work with doluck apparently) and harnesses.
Doluck rear ladder bar
Sparco Evo2's
Momo Jet steering wheel

Once the suspension is setup to my liking, then the SR20 is going in. :) I figure another 1-2 years, and she'll be just about perfect. :D

haha..i see you read alex's posts a lot. there are MANY companies besides NAMS that make those fender bars. i've seen at least 4 different ones selling them
the RXB will not work with most japanese bolt in cages (cusco is one). i am going to sell mine when i get my 6 pt cage in. hehe..(sorry not for sale to public, to my friend).
evos are nice but sparco rails blow, get bride rails.

other then that, your plans are great. its good to see others go..
oh wait!!
WHERES YOUR LSD!! that should be at the VERY VERY TOP OF THE LIST!! no excuse for missing that one! that should be on the car before ANYTHING else! go fix it now! serious.

Actually JDM Spec Performance (Guys from the Cusco Tension Bar GB) might be setting up a GB for the NAMS Fender Bars... They are only $150+/- I will ask Leo again about this GB once I pay for the other half of my Cusco Tension Bar.

Looks good!

Question though - do you still need the rxb if you have a 4 pt. bar? I'd think the bar would provide at least as much rigidity. Plus, I don't know how you could fit any bar w/o using that space?

no you wouldnt need it anymore. there's no room too. alex chang upgraded his to 4 pt roll cage, and i bought his RXB. no room for them both!

you know I posted about that a long time ago, and everyone implied that a roll bar wouldn't give you the stiffness of the rxb.. I knew they were full of ****.. just cross that off the list.. the roll bar IS going in. I need to get one. As speeds climb in the 240, safety becomes a much more necessary factor.

I completely forgot the LSD on that list. I'm already in the process of getting one. I have a contact in Japan looking for an S15 HLSD for me right now. {can't believe I forgot that :eek: }

I also forgot that I plan to toss the OBX... it is just too sloppy, and buzzes about 5000rpm like crazy. The instructor's at the events are always.."what the *uck is that?!?!?"

Who else makes the fender bars?.. the NAMS is the only one I've seen.

West - The GT knob is cool.. It's like a soft but firm rubber. a litte smaller than I expected, but is very VERY nice. It has a set screw on top of it. Once you tighten it down it goes nowhere.

yah, the JIC's are VERY cool!! i got a chance to drive chimps car, and he got to drive mine. i was impressed by how comfy his car was with such a good suspension. it turned very well, but it was too short to really get a good grip on how nice it is. i really want some coilovers now... :( anyways, i sold him my S14 seats and got a sparco for mine. i miss the S14's for daily driving, but when it comes to turning fast, the Sparco is invaluable. also, im glad i chose the hks hiper over the 5zigen, i think i like the look of mine better. but overall, chimps got the better car, but im catching up! :) its ironic how similar our mods are.

mods:
AEM intake pipe with blitz filter
HKS hiper exaust
test pipe
T/c and LCA whiteline bushings
Front and rear STB's
AGXs w/ ST springs
relocated battery
greddy knob
sparco speed seat
momo competition wheel
KVR pads
redline tranny fluid
removed clutch fan & AC
S14 radiator
hoosiers on enkies for events...

i have a set of Z32 brakes waiting to be installed. i need lines, and pad for them. id like to get a set of sway bars and a roll cage soon as well. then, i dunno what ill do. i need to start making some more power...

Maybe you were doing a bid for all the money you stole for the ride:D Anyway nice ride and I love the JICs ::only if I had the money:: The AGX w/ HKS SS will have to do:mad: ;)

So you will be at VIR in FEB? Will your girl be there w/ the Spec-V? I am still working out the money and trying to get the '91 'teg for Amber

very nice choice on the JIC's . . . I am looking at this setup for the summer. Did you have to get spacers for the front by chance? and if not did you happen to notice the difference in clearance from your old setup? What size rubber do you have on there? Are you happy with the performance? Sorry for the 20 questions but I am very interested in the JIC's.

tubed4eva - I am very happy with the JIC's. Completely ecstatic! I am running 205/55-15's on the stock alloys with no spacers. there is a pic I took that shows wheel clearance b/w the tire and spring. As far as the ride goes, it's nice.. very obvious that I have high rate linear springs, but not bone jarring.. most of the time :) I still need to do a bit of suspension tuning, shes a bit tail happy right now. (full soft all around.)

bakari - Hell yeah I'll be at vir.. Rach will be there with the Spec-v, and my roommate allen with the RSX-S will be there as well.

I want an hsld for the better response you get with a torsen type lsd. The Viscous unit always seems a bit slow to engage. After researching it quite a bit, all you need is the S15 lsd unit, and output shafts. the s13 axles have the same bolt pattern. 2x3 (6 bolts). I will use my ring gear.
