240s with skyline bumpers post pics here!

Hey all, I really want a VIS Omega bumper when I get my 97-98 240. I just wanted to see how the skyline bumper looked on everyones car here. I know there are a couple types of skyline bumpers so post pics of whichever you have. Can't wait to see them! Thx guys.

That s13, what specific kit is that? Or is it taken and moulded?

Man, Non's car sure is a beauty isn't it? I actually really like that low profile "drag" wing he has on it. It goes really well with the mirrors.

I thought that was the cusco CF wing? I really like it too though. his car is why I wanted tha tbumper on mine lol

If its the same car I read about a while ago, its actually the S14 kit that thye cut and molded on

It may be a cusco wing, but generically, that style is referred to as a low profile drag wing. It actually sits up to ten inches off the back of the trunk, so it catches more air.

Hey, that red 240 looks really good, maybe b/c it's mine!! lol. That is such a bad picture. That was taken the 1st day I got it out of the shop, I just finished painting it that day. Well if anyone needs any help with the 95-98 conversion let me know. -Charles

That's not Jerrys anymore. He sold that car on ebay awhile back. The guy who runs iloveracing.com (pacific rim owns it) and he payed WAY too much for it. Plus it's auto:p Last time I glanced at the auction before it sold it was up to 12k.

Yeah man these cars are BAD A$$, I especially like the front shot of the first pic pnoydro916 posted. I think this is a perfect bumper for the 97-98, fits it so nice. I hopefully will find a white SE 5 speed somewhere within the next few months, if its not white then black. My plans are the VIS omega skyline bumper, 18's, eibach prokit, spec k wing, and N1 muffler for starters. I'm not going to turn it into rice or anything, I just won't touch the engine so I can't save the money for a possible SR swap down the road. I've been driving an auto 4 cylinder 4 door accord up to this point, so the KA will seem fast to me anyways for awhile. If it turns out to be white I'd like gunmetal rims but i have seen none that i'd really like in 5 spoke. Speaking of which, whats the offset needed for the 240? I figure it would be a little different since its RWD. Thanks for all your input guys.

Those skyline bumper sucks! They way too low and crack easily and most doesn't fit too good and poorly made. Get a Bomex bumper if you like that skyline look!

I have to agree those bumpers to suck and they are being played out.....showing up on ALOT of non-Nissan cars.

If you still want the Skyline look I would go with Top Secret (only if you have the money) or the more aggressive look of Bomex.

well i like mine so :p but yeah seeing it on hondas and such kinda sucks. but oh well still looks good on mine. that and I dont see any where I live. I really like that Top Secret I hate bomex's kits for our cars they look ridiculous.

Well even if other people with other cars do have the skyline bumper, there arn't really a lot of them except for in magazines and stuff. I think I've seen one car in real life with a "skyline" bumper, it was a 93 civic or something and it really didn't look that much like the skyline bumpers on the 240s. Besides, if a 240 showed up with a skyline bumper it would put any other car with the same bumper to shame so it wouldn't matter. If it doesn't fit when I get it, I'll make it fit, cause I love that bumper and don't want anything else. Just my $.02
