Who here has seen it?
We took Emma to see it last night and wow...yet another great movie by Pixar. It does start off a little slow, but damn...I enjoyed it!

We took the kids to see it opening night.
PIXAR/Disney seem to be able to do anything at this point. The art work and story's are great. There are still a TON of features planned for the next couple of years too. Including Toy Story 3, and some 3D features. I think the next release is "Bolt", with John Travolta and Mylie Cyrus adding their voices.
now see, a guy I work with took his 4 year old to see it and they hated it, therefore we didn't take jaden to see it... maybe we'll have to now that I hear good things.

Dook, Emma was perched on the edge of her seat the whole time...after the first 15mins or so. The artwork was amazing!

Presto,, right?
I saw this the other day and was AMAZED.
The story was really good, and for a pixar movie, sooper scifi. And i liked the intro music that played.
The Spork/Foon part was pretty damn memorable.

i heard it was good, been meaning to take my daughter to go see it, but we're not too sure how she'll sit through a movie (shes only 20months)...i heard the name "wall-e" was over abused throughout the movie
ThatGuy

Well, the character doesn't really have a "voice". So what he manages to pronounce with his robotic sounds, he uses whenever possible.
It's not annoyingly overused. It's just like a small child, or caveman, with a limited vocabulary.

gotcha....prolly see about taking her this weekend since dark knight is gonna be super sold out everywhere, and i hate sitting next to someone i dont know...and the crowd for wall-e has died out, so people wont get too annoyed when my daughter yells at the screen
yeah, jaden will be 3 in october and she's just now starting to be able to keep her attention long enough to sit through an entire movie... Kung Fu Panda was a stretch for her though, she wasn't too awful interested and was actually kinda scared at times.

my girlfriend and i saw this a couple weeks back and just HATED it. i originally thought the movie was gonna be dumb from the preview but after a few people told us it was good, we decided to check it out and boy did we waste our time. what you get from the commericial is exactly what you get from the first third or half of the movie. i was ready to walk out even before they left earth and she was too. we only stayed to see if things got better but it didnt. man afterwards we were pretty upset and felt pretty unsatisfied; as well as others who watched it. i figure this is either a love it or hate it movie....and i hate it with the passion, yea it felt a bad taste in my mouth.
edit: yeaa 1000 post!!!

my little sister and my mother took my daughter to go see kung fu panda, and they said she sat through the whole movie quiet up until the last 20min because she was standing in the isle and tripped over one of their feet, fell, and started crying lol....
so we'll see how it goes

Saw it this past weekend. Kicked ass. Every time I see a Pixar movie I'm just blown away by the animation. The short film at the beginning was one of their best too.
We took our 21-month old son. Went to a matinee so that it would be around his nap time. Popcorn and candy helped to occupy him at the beginning, and then he fell asleep before he got too bored.

Looked great, but I didn't like the movie. Maybe because it was hot as hell in the theater and people wouldn't shut the fuck up.
I'll have to give it another try at home when it comes out on blu-ray.

i saw it as a gift from my best friend, she took me to see it on my bday, yeah having bunch of family and money problems and pixar movies make me smile like a lil kid hahaha, but wall-e is a good movie, i know kids will like it cause well its in a space ship, robots, its pixar and its cute and all that stuff so if u have any kids i know you will like this movie, it makes fun of not doing nothing and standing up for what u want...(if u need something positive about the movie...)
about pixars next project theyre making toy story 3 with there new technology theyre using, and they are remaking toy story 1 & 2 with the original actors doing the voices... it was on a report i read on pixar and theyre future plans...

I really enjoyed it! Some of the artwork scenes on Earth are insane. Quite dark in parts too

This movie was fantastic. My kids were completely enthralled. They sat quiet for the whole movie, and were really paying attention, and at 6 and 3, it is a miracle. I loved the theme, and I liked how they made a point without it being too shoved in your face (a la Happy Feet).
I only took my son to see Kung-Fu Panda, he was entertained for the most part, but he really didn't get most of the movie. He just got excited when there were fighting scenes.

i thought it was very good, I mean the story was "typical" as love stories go, but i thought it was awesome, and i love the subliminal messages that americans are turning in to overweight idiots.... I mean hate on me but thus far this year its the best movie ive seen.
