Got my first ticket today .. feeling like crap.

I just got back home from receiving a speeding ticket from a chp going 89 in a 65 zone.

i'm feeling like shit and i asked him if i could take traffic school, he said it depends on the judge ..

do you guys think he will let me take traffic school? the ticket isnt a problem, i just dont want a point on my record ...

it's my first ticket, EVER.

They'll probably give you a chance to get traffic school since its your first violation and all, but then again you're 18 so they also probably won't so you will learn your lesson. I don't know, it depends on the judge.

I had my first ticket the beginning of this year too and since I've had a spotless driving record since I was 16 they let me take traffic school and reduced my ticket from $400 to $180.

I got a ticket for going 91 in the 65 zone and it was for 500 bucks. They let me take traffic school and it went down to 300. Just hope you can take traffic school!

Yea they will let you. The fine will be from 400 to 500 dollars since you were going so quick. But you will be fine.

Traffic school for me was $40. It was only a test, no lecturing or anything. I was done in like 2.5 hours, it was really long but it beats sitting in class for 8 hours, it was open book too.

Do traffic school online. Altho some of those fuckers got automatic pop up questionaires to make sure you are there in front of the computer. You fail to answer it within a certain time and you fail.
