Hey guys, i was bored this afternoon. I found that my windshield have a bulleye on my driver side windshield. I believe a rock hit my windshield causing this. On the damage area, it is completely flat , and i don't feel any rough edge or any sharp edge either. By the way, i have the s14.
So i went to autozone to get "Permatex Windshield Repair Kit (09103)." I've never done this before. My first thought on this stuff is "It will never work." But i gave it a try.

The kit comes with resin, thumbtack, syringe, alcohol wipe, small yellow strip mask, green adhesive disc and the grey resin tube and a box cutter.
step 1: Wipe the bulleye with alcohol wipe. Clean and prep it. Get the green circle sticker, and stick it on the bulleye, the center empty hole must fill up the bulleye as the picture show below.

Step 3: Squeeze 3/4 of the resin into the hole. And save 1/4 of the resin for later use.

Step 4: Stick the syringe into the hole, and pull the plunger all the way and lock the plunger at the top line so that it is creating a vacuum, you will see the resin making bubbles on the bottom of the syringe. WAIT 10 MINUTES for this step!!!

Step 5: After 10minutes is over, pull the syringe to get the air out. and put the plunger back in, and push the plunger down to the 2nd line. At this time, it is squeezing the resin into the bulleye. WAIT 20 MINUTES for this step!!!! Picture shown below.

Step 6: After 20minutes is over, pull the syringe off, and use the box cutter to shave the adhesive disc off. You will see a little bit of bulleye, but no much. Sorry i forgot to take a picture at this step, because i was excited that it works. LOL:bigok: :naughty:
Step 7: After shaving the resin and adhesive disc off, apply the 1/4 of resin on the bulleye. And put the yellow strip mask and cover the resin on the bulleye. Wait 15minutes to dry. Picture shown below.

Last Step: After 15minutes is over. remove the yellow strip, and use box cutter to shave the remaining resin off. The large amount of bulleye is removed. But i still see a little bulleye left when i look closer. But it is hardly noticeable.

Now, i have alot better view on the windshield. I hope this work for everybody here on zilvia. If mine works, i hope it works for you too. Have fun and safe driving.:2f2f:
