junkyard help..

I have an old car im trying to send to the junk yard. What's the best way of doing it? Is it better to trailer it in? or have the junk yard pick it up? Are there any junk yards that pay more than others? :wiggle:

Ecology will pick it up for you can give you some cash if teh engine and tranny are still inplace.

Call around and get prices, and haggle. Tell them you need X amount of dollars for it and they'll work with you. I ended up getting $200 for an old wrecked Z i had, from some mom-and-pop junkyard. Pick n Pull only wanted to give me like 60 and the other offers were all like 100. So yeah, def. ask several places.
