How's it going guys/gals. I didn't want to post this in the Ka24De-T section because I guess theres been some questionable posts nearing the end, and seeing its a general Q and not neccisarily a specific one, I figured best to post here and not clutter the section.
I am finally consistently collecting parts for my Ka-T build and know the what I need to get the turbo spinning. (Don't let the name fool yah, I've been planning this for the longest time and am not Premie yet to change it, lol) I am just stumped on what downpipe to go with, compatible for my build & that fits my "requirements".
I have a Custom JGS Top Mount Manifold with T3/T04E Turbo, and will be trying to source a Greddy Turbo Elbow...
I am looking for a Good Stainless Steel Downpipe with 3" Piping.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good Quality DP thatll fit my needs and will not break the bank?
Thanks in advance for the help.

there is no cat in the downpipe. i would just go to a good custom exhaust/performance shop and have them fab a short downpipe to connect to an aftermarket sr20 downpipe

I understand theres no Cat in the downpipe. I have seen some in the FS section that list the downpipe longer seeing no need for a test pipe... Test pipe replaces Cat, therefore deleting the Cat. I think it was a Greddy one, I could be mistaken on that and with the information in general, that's why I'm seeking advice.

Fabbing one up was a thought that came through my mind. If possible I'd just do a Full Custom Turbo Back... Turbo Elbow/Down Pipe/Cat Delete, but if I can source that Greddy Elbow, thered be no need. I am near AMS and could get it done there, but theres always a million day wait =( Even though I know its worth it, I'm impatient =D (Hence Sig Quote) My friend just started working there and one of the worker's Father was my Biology Teacher in HS, maybe I go VIP, hah.
JGS Top Mount Manifold
Just get the JGS "downpipe" its not a real downpipe its just an extension to make it easier to buy a SR downpipe since its easier to get.

Yea the JGS was first suggested by my frend, with the same reasonings, but I just wasn't liking the extension part.
Believe it or not but I have done some looking into the topic and weighed my options before I posted ;)
Never assumed so, I got the pre-downpipe just cause it would be just a stright bolt on for downpipe. Im wondering now how your set-up is gonna turn out.

Chuy, im not following your previous post, but I think i might stick with what i was leaning towards, and go Megan... Stainless 3" piping, wont break the bank. And Adrian, an you too chuy, made a good move on bringing up the built in Flex Pipe; which i wasnt aware of till i saw the one for sale in the clasifiedss.
Anyone reading this currently using the Megan Dowpipe? Just curious on how youre feeling it, and hows it holding up?

Dousan_PG, I will check with them and see whats available. I have a Megan Test Pipe and found that the Downpipe i had mentioned, that was extended to not need an additional test pipe, must have been a one of a kind thing, maybe custom.
