Anyone know a good company for shipping cars? I have need of shipping a couple here in the next few months, one from florida to tx, and one from tx to florida, Im looking for something maybe around ~300/car? Anyone know any good reliable shipping companies?

Highly doubt you'll find someone to ship a car from Florida to Texas for $300.

I shipped a car from Tennessee to Texas and it cost me $700. I cant remember the name of the company but I can find out for ya.

man the prices have gone way up then, 2 years ago I had a Z shipped from NY to Dallas and it only cost me ~350+ tax. Damn gas prices. If you could find the company name for me thatd be great, thanks man.

DAS is good they are fully insured and take cars that are modified ie lowered . They charge around $.50 mile so from texas to florida gonna be $600.

Local guys use Cascade Vehicle Shipping and that's it. No one has had a problem, unlike DAS. Not to mention it was cheaper than any other place when they were shopping around.

I shipped Oktay's aka Halo one of our moderators, car from Cali to upstate New York it was like $600-700. Of course given the current costs of fuel everything is going to be more expensive now.

I'll third DAS, they are who I am planning to use to get my car from CA to TX. They look to cost about 450 for that trip back in May. It may be higher now b/c of gas, but it's still cheaper than it would be to drive out (considering gas and two nights in a hotel, this calculation didn't consider flying out or food etc.)

Ebay seems like the place that would do the most volume of auto shipping so I am pretty trusting of them if they endorse DAS. You can get a quote from DAS by visiting their website.

Edit: looks like the price has gone up to about 550, stupid gas prices.

good luck finding that cheap I had a car shipped from LA to PA it was $800 that was a few months ago too the price of gas has gone up a bit since then

Just had my 90 coupe shipped from Chicago to Seattle. 730.00 end to end. Once it was on the truck it took two days to get here. I could track the truck online too. Oh, I used DAS btw.

LOL @ 300. take it to an Adesa or Manheim auction, they might help you even if you arent a dealer.
i pay 8-900 per car from tampa to seattle. used to be 6-700 :(
