Stance coilovers are best bang for the buck. Check out Touge Factory for them. They are great guys.

what do you need the stiff ride for?
8-900 dollar range is fairly low as far a s the coilover game goes.

Ive heard pretty good things about k*bees. I believe they are in your price range iirc. Aspec has them I think.

k sports are cheap also...i recommend stance and Powered by max
For your money look in the classifieds for some used better coils.

you said your range is $900.
if you raise another $100-$200 you can get some Stance GR+
sell your sperm, sell your guypod, sign up to test new pharmaceuticals, stop eating at the cheesecake factory with your gf, don't go out for 3 weekends. there's a bunch of stuff you can do. get the stances, you'll be more than happy with them.

get koni yellows haha sorry to kill thread :P Yeah i think thatll be like 1100 or something but worthwhile heh. You'll probably handle better and not compromise ride comfort :P

I think my 240 race car with stances rides better then my DD with kyb's and espilier springs.
another vote for Stance. More then likely you do not NEED them this week or next, you just want them. Save ther $$$$ up and buy good shit.

a different suggestion: check ouot getting some threaded sleeves (ground control is the brand usually chosen) and some nice shocks (koni yellow or kyb agp). Check out this thread (http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=161773&highlight=ground+control) for more info.
Quick summary: basically you are looking at 800-1000 retail for a setup that is generally agreed upon to be equivalent if not better than $1800 coilovers.
Just something to check out, many experienced people swear by this setup and it is the one I am looking for eventually.
also check out this site (http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets6.html) for more info on shocks, springs, and suspension in general.

go stances!!

my stance gr+ were only a couple hundred more than that and from the place I got them from you could add +-3k to the normal 8k/6k spring rate without paying any extra (meaning you could go anywhere between 5k-11k front and 3k-9k rear). I went with 5k/4k myself since it's a daily driver that sees more drag racing than track time.

[email protected] all the go stances posts hehe, go www.nissanroadracing.com (http://www.nissanroadracing.com) for all your damper/coilover needs koni yellows + gc even if it cost you 1000ish would still be a better option than as one person stated 1800+ jdm tyte coilovers without compromising comfort... and without the shitty bounciness of jdm coilovers, plus rebuildable, revalvable and probably much better adjustable than jdm stuff out there that claims to be 36 ways and whatever else

i personally like the stance...but if you arent going to do it right the first time....
lol
dude dont cheap out, in the long run its not worth it.if you just want a slammed look and dont care, cut your springs or somthing.
if you want performance just get the right stuff.
also, i mean, what do you want to do with the car, there is a thread on this like every week,
search!
ha
if you dont have money..buy those godspeed coils from ebay, i think they are only 600 or somthing, i think thats in your price range

Nobody brought up KTS? I've heard some good things about them. My friend has some Apexi's and he likes them, but he wishes he would have bought stance.
you said your range is $900.
if you raise another $100-$200 you can get some Stance GR+
sell your sperm, sell your guypod, sign up to test new pharmaceuticals, stop eating at the cheesecake factory with your gf, don't go out for 3 weekends. there's a bunch of stuff you can do. get the stances, you'll be more than happy with them.
hahah lol but its true that shit is good money.:bigok: oh and by the way i have k sports i paid 650 for them about a year and a half ago. Although i havent had any problems they are not very stiff. I will be getting PBM coilovers in the near future after my sr swap is done.
If you are only looking to get low buy cheap coilovers
If you want performance you want something like PBM, Stance, KTS< etc Price doesnt always mean quality. So unless your pure baller and want to drop 2k on suspension for most peoples use a set in the 1k range is sufficent.
