Ok so yea yea i am going 5 lug soon.
I was doing some searching and yes i always knew about the ichiba and everyone loves theres.
But has anyone had Circuit sports?
Which is the better price, it is a 5 dollar difference from where i am buying them from, the cs comes with extended studs, the ichibas come with regular studs. I have extended studs from cs on my 4 lugs right now, they dont seem all that strong at all.
That is why i was leaning towards ichiba because they have oem studs in them.

I was doing some searching and yes i always knew about the ichiba and everyone loves theres.
I ordered a new set of Ichiba hubs last winter and did the install this spring... one front hub has play in it right after the install. I've been trying since the 1st of April to get ahold of Ichiba for a replacement for one and have had yet to have them return a call or an email. The other 3 hubs are fine though and I'm sure that probably only a few bad hubs get through, it just sucks that their customer service is so bad. I guess that's what you would expect for paying $410 shipped for a full set of 5lug hubs.

There not oem studs, more like 'oem-like' studs as in they have the same knurl as S14 hubs do... they are ichiba studs and pretty soft if you ask me.

From what I've read, the smartest opton is to use OEM stuff. Like z32, s14 se, etc. Lots of people have had problems with aftermarket hubs.

I think you can get oem s14 hub/bearings for nearly the same price as the ichiba/circuit sports, but you'll need other parts like s14 ball joints (I can't remember exactly because I didn't go the s14 route). You could also spend a little more for the attain or gto conversions. I think they're 100-150 more.

Circuit Sport is the way go unless you want to oem and change your knuckles and ball joints and get spacers for the strut bolts due to S14 strut bolts being larger vs S13. If you go S14 strut bolts then you have to slightly widen the holes on the strut mount. At this point in time the fastest easiest way is to just run aftermarket up front. Again that takes you to Circuit Sport. I might add they are about the best on the market right now and far better than Ichiba which are junk in my opinion.

The Gen-2's are out yet, so the pricing listed on the page is for their first gen's. I'm sure I'll be buying a set of these before the first track day of 09.

Not to bring this back from the dead but I'm in the same boat as I am going 5-lug as well. I contacted Phase2Motortrend last week and there is no word on the release of the Gen2's from CS. They look really good though.
