Sorry if this is in the wrong place, i just couldnt find an answer.

I have a set of SportMax 17"x9 wheels, i want to fit for daily drive.
Hi guys.

I will be runing with 235/40 on front and 245/40 (with future plans for 255/40) on the rear, tyres.

I was wondering, what offset would i need, to have the rear wheels sit just a bit out - needing a bit of arch flaring, and the front wheels sit flush with the font wingm or allso with a bit of esaly doable flaring ?

I need to decide what spacers to get, as the wheels ar ET35.

I really want the ARCH flerring (not sure this is how its called) on the rear, so i want to get things looking right.

These are the tyres i have now, so please dont send me to buy others.

Is ET10 on the rear going to do the job, and is ET10 on the front too much ?

I was thinking of getting 25mm spacers, all around.

If anyone has some pictures of how these offsets could look, i'd appritiate it.

Thanks,
Dany.

I got a similar setup so I suppose I'll post it

235/40-f w/ 17x8 +25
255/40-r w/ 17x9 +38

Imo, these wheels sit very flush, though I know some prefer their rear wheels to stick out a little more than this (which I would too, but they don't make the wheel im using in a 17x10 +38). Now that I've made measurements with this setup, I'm going with 245/40-f and 275/40-r for my next tire setup. This is all with tein s-tech springs and tokico struts too, so once I get my stance coilovers installed (waiting on the new version 3 ruca's from spl), there should be a little more room. Hope that helps.

I am looking at that tread, but couldnt find a streight answer.

Will 235/40 17" on a 9" Rim with offset 10 - be ok ?
What will i need to do to the front fender, to make it fit ?
Rolloing/pulling/.... ?

Thanks.

17x9+10? Maybe with a ton of negative camber. I mounted 17+9+15 w/ 235/40 on the front of my car and they stuck out quite a bit (heck, I had to roll the rear to get them to fit there). But I also try not to run any negative camber.

if u don't wanna run Negative then get a really gay offset...

for reference i've had 225 and a 245 on a 9+15 up front, 245 and a 255 on 9+15s in the rear as well. lowness has varied between tucking just the tip of the tire to tucking a good inch or so.

assuming you go with a similar height...

imo a 9+10 /w a 235 will fit fine in front with a modest 2ish degrees of camber or so. no way you can get away without a roll and harness relocation.

9+10 /w a 245 /w 2ish degrees of camber will probably leave the wheel face very slightly sunk, but overall flush to the tire. you will very probably have to pull or roll.
