Power Door Locks WEIRD

car is 90 s13 hatch. the thing is i can only unlock on the passengers side, and only lock on the drivers side. i know that im SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE to lock and unlock ont the drivers side. i tried replacing the timing control unit, but no luck, unless the one i got is bad...

has this happened to anyone else, or any suggestions?

That is normal.
If I unlock from the passenger OR driver's side, it unlocks both sides... ONLY if I lock from the driver's side does it lock both doors.

no, no. you should be able to lock and unlock both doors from the driver side. you should also be able to lock and unlock only the passenger side door from the passenger side.

youre very right. but the thing is, i cant unlock BOTH doors from the drivers side. it only unlocks the drivers door.

lol...on nissan vehicles they have what they call...Follow the Leader Door Locks...it's operates exactly as it sounds...the driver's actuator is the leader...i would try and see if you could find a replacement actuator...it may not be kickin out the signal to trigger the passenger door lock actuator
