you probly dont have the right one. these fit snug, and you cant take them off without takeing off the column cover.

they light up in green and white, but im going to see if i can get some colored bulbs.

i doubt you would have to solder anything, maybe just splice it into your light switch or something.

yes, they all work.

you can also do a light blue similar to the stock gauge color. All you have to do is swap the bulb from the ashtray light with the bulb of the ignition light. Anyways bump for ronnie. Awesome seller.

im not sure of the size.
bad news, i just tested the led's that i have at home on my battery charger at 12v, and they popped. im not sure if the car voltage on the dash lights is the same or not. so, i eather have to add a risistor on the leds or find bulbs that size to handle the voltage.

Ronnie, do you know how to wire them so that they stay on 24/7? I have it wired right now so that it turns on with my gauge cluster lights.

hey whats up jimmy.

24/7 hmm, it might drain your battery. but , you can connect it directly to your ignition, it has a constant pos. or better, to your radio harness that also has a constant (+).

I'm probably going to do a how-to on this and post it in this thread, maybe it will inspire people the buy more of these off of me?

good luck jimmy, id probably add a fuse just in case.

alright good to know. I'll see what I figure out because on my girl's Acura TL it has a similar thing and it's always lit. Would like something like that with mine.

oh and definitely gotta hit you up when I get some extra money to redo my panels and ish. the last event I went to damn near cooked my car. the suede literally peeled by itself on my passenger side.

Do you know if it will fit on a S14?

DreamN

the plastic piece won't, but the ring that lights up will probably fit. If you widen the hole on your stock s14 plastic trim piece to accommodate the ring I'm sure it'll all work out fine. If it doesn't stay in place just super glue it from the rear.

Hey just add a resistor. what's the rating (Voltage/amp) on the bulb?

on with ignition: just take your steering column plastics off and follow the ignition harness to the plug under the column, disconnect it , de-pin the blue wire or splice into it and connect one wire from the ign. key light then ground the other.

always on: see that connector in front of the ignition harness (light brown). one wire is red w/ white stripe (constant +) the other is yellow w/ orange stripe. connect one wire to the red w/white stripe and ground the other.
