Hey guys, I just have a quick question, What is the max width spacer you can run safely without having to change to longer wheel studs?

Is it 7mm by any chance? It'd be great if some people could comment. I tried searching but I couldn't find anything.

My problem is that the inside of my tires are rubbing onto my coilovers.

Id say 5mm just to be safe.

Thanks, I did a little more searching and it seems like 5mm is safe. :)

5mm is the most I'd do, even tho ive run 8mm before. But I was paranoid the whole time. I checked the lug nuts every chance I got and didnt try to push the car...

5mm on the sandwich spacer. the sky is the limit if you go with a bolt on one!

depends on the thickness of the pad on the wheel, but i was barely able to get cressida wheels on with a 5mm slip on

0-5mm: stock studs
5-15mm: longer studs
15+mm: bolt on to stock studs

changing studs is pretty easy, and places like ichiba sell them for like $2 per or something. then again if you want high quality studs like arp or to a lesser extent nismo, then you'll have to pay :(

I've been rocking us equivalent of about 7mm for about 6000 miles now.
