So.. I'm getting a motor with a shitload of blowby through the VC breather..

I've rebuilt a KA before, but not a SR and I'm sure it's same principles, but what could that possibly be?

I'm not too familiar with SR, so I don't know what it can be..

off the top of my head:
rings?
valve seals?

owner said the oil was clean and free from metals and the block is in one peice..lol

check your compression and do a leakdown test. If it's the rings, you're going to need to tear it down and get new rings and gap them properly.

i was blowing a ton of smoke after putting my KA back in. i forgot to drain the oil.
and then i put in a refill. so it had two gallons of oil in it.

....did you put 2 gallons of oil in your engine

definatly sounds like some serious blow by.

bottom end rebuild asap.

total seal rings are garbage, dont use them.

mine had a cracked piston, so look for that or rings and seals

Yes do leak down test, check your motor oil level, replace pcv valve, if KAT did you check whether if you have a restrictor on your turbo. Good luck..
