I think drift freaq can hook you up with a 5spd trans. swap for a good price, no need to get rid of it!!

yea, but is it worth the time and effort of a manual tranny swap? is it something I can do myself or with the help of couple o' friends? I just figured I should've bought a manual instead...

id take it for that price, but shipping would probably be more than the price of the car

If you happen to sell the motor and tranny, I might consider buying the rolling shell from you. Email me if that happens. I'm in Flagstaff, AZ.

someone buy this guys car. that is a just straight up fat deal . If I had the extra cash laying around I would buy it that car is worth over 5K here in Los Angeles.
Man i really think you should do the tranny swap it would cost you all of $800-$1000 max if had someone do it for you, and at the current rate you are trying to sell your car at you are losing big time.
Parts would cost you $400-$600 and yes you and your friends could easily do the tranny swap in your driveway. Its like doing a clutch job. email me I will drop all the low down on you . 100k is nothing for our cars mileage wise . I know guys running 200K engines .

will, ok, im getting more interested, but a few questions first.

you said you have another ka and auto transmission. what is the mileage and condition of those? is that included in the price? other than that, what is wrong with the car? accidents? this is really important cause this car will be for my gf, and she needs something safe.

can you find out how much shipping to vancouver, canada would be?

thanks

-- or --

do you know a shop that would do cheap engine work and tranny swap? if so, i would consider flying down and driving it back (ive got a ton of vacation coming up, so i figure i might be able to spare a week of driving).

Honestly I view this car as more a project car, it runs now, but not too well. Its not quite daily-driver material I'd say
