I am calling NRG 2morrow and finding about their "Quick Flip".
everythings on sale already, my friend has a wholesale license and we go get parts then resale for more on craigslist
the steering wheel = hot
Ive sold a couple already. For the price its good, but the only downside is the Carbon fiber overlay.

How much does that steering wheel retail for? And what about the Quick Flip? Any word on how much and if it is released already?
the steering wheel cost us 90. Retails at around 125.
The quick tilt, Not sure but I know Nrg and I would say around 130, 150 MAX. IF so get someone with a wholesale license so you can get it for super cheap.

nope its pretty much like a hub that makes ur steering flip up!
i would have to say tho, if you ever buy a NRG steering wheel ( which I dont recommend ) the one up there is your best bet.

^You realize that's a "G", right? It seems pretty obvious.
The rip-off of the Works Bell flip-up looks pretty good.

i'm not too familiar with the concept but what's the benefit of the quick flip over the standard quick release?

+1
QR is a much better theft deterent compared to the flip. i can still picture having issues getting in and out even with the flip especially with full cage and bucket seat.

Just curious also, i can't honestly tell by the pics but... does it bring it slightly closer towards the driver, the combination of the short hub + 2.5 quick release? Cause I would like the steering wheel a lil closer to me... would fit my seating position a little better... giving me more grip on the wheel as opposed to being too extended...
I got a 330mm personal neo grinta wheel.

all depends on what seat/rails position and steering wheel you have. most likely if you want the wheel closer, you should get normal size hub with 2.5 quick release and personal wheel. this should give you about a 45 degree arm angle. in my case, i have to use the short hub, since my streering wheel is 95mm deep.

im running a 330mm deep corn style wheel with regular momo hub and 2.5 QR. wheels is moved closer to me by alot. with my hands on teh wheel i can NOT touch the signals/wiper arms unless i take my hand off and reach forward for it. with a non deep corn style i can style reach it with my finer tips.
mind you im 6 feet tall with long legs! so my seating position is far back where teh shoulder bolsters are almost beside the stock seatbelt location ( at the end of the door)
i find it nice how its closer to me. i guess it all depends on driving styel and personal preference.

Bleh, there's already cheap shit like that from other brands. I'd rather keep my 2.5 QR being different is overrated.

I think that'll work for me as well, as I'm 6'2 and although I like to be close to have more pressure on the pedals.. the bigger reason is to have more grip and feel on the steering wheel, to be closer to the wheel.. Have arms bent has a much better feel on the wheel, more control, more ease, more grip...
I would prefer to go back with the seat even in my winter beater, but if i get too far back and have the seat on slight angle and not straight up like a kitchen chair (as most american cars are lol...) then I lose feel on the wheel... and i cant do full rotations, my arms are straight.. not bent... so i think the same deal here...
I appreciate the feedback mr_240sx, I think I'll def go for regular hub + 2.5... I think that really would be perfect with 330mm personal wheel (without dish)... i think ill give that a try...
uff if only my car was actually running now haha... i've been driving my winter beater for over a month now :(

Quick flip helps me get my fat ass and long legs in and out of the car easier.

i run a nardi personal hub long, a nrg ver. 1 q/r and a nrg deep dish 320mm wheel and it sits decent. i want to get a longer hub put the wheel close to me lol. i have super long legs, and have a modified seat to sit way for back but my arms are short hahaha.
i want an nrg ver.2 q/r
