Usually when I turn my lights on, the headlight come up on their own and go down when I turn them off. Now to get them up I have to use the button. If I turn the button off they stay up and they will go down on their own when I turn the lights off, just like their supposed to. So the problem is up. What do I need to look at?
It happened at the same time to both lights. All the fuses are good and each relay affected how the lights are currently working so I'm assuming those are good unless a relay can go partially bad and have more than one function. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm ruling out the motors and switch for obvious reasons. And I highly doubt it's a fuse and less highly doubt it's a relay. Help is greatly appreciated.

at least your headlight go up and down.  Mine only go up when I turn the lights on, and the won't go down if I turn them off.  the button switch doesn't work at all.

I always thought there was two relays, one for "headlight up", and one for "headlight down"<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>? &nbsp; If I wasn't so lazy I'd go check right now. &nbsp;I will later, lol.

Yours is most likely a bad relay or fuse. I experimented with all of them and that was the results of pulling one of them. Sorry I couldn't be more specific as to which one. For me, there was never an instance where pulling a fuse or relay didn't change anything.
