A local wants to sell bnib taka turbo lines, for 50 bucks. It's for an s13 application. Since i'm going to running a gt3071r, will these lines still work? I'm pretty sure, that they were intended for a t25/28.

Is the 3071 bottom mount? if it is it will work. buy them.

So, 3071r with a t2 flange is too restrictive, right?

in a nutshell, yes

I have it, and as to now, i havent had any restriction problems with it.
It was actualy recomanded by ATP, over any other bottom mount T25 flage Garrett turbo, although no doght - T3 topmount would be better for high end.
As for the lines, i dont know about TopMount, but bottom mount wont fit. I had the Circuit-Sport lines, wich are the same as the Taka, and ended up making my own.

Of course you're not going to notice any restriction problems, unless you compare the same turbo t3 flanged. if you have nothing to compare it to you'll never notice a "problem" :mepoke:

Rigt, but lets say that for my needs, it delivers.
Quick spoolup and good top end..... Yes there are better options, but not for bottom mount.
As i said, i do belive that a healthy T3, Topmount is the way to go.
Next time tough.....
