Is a S13 Hicas Rear Sway Bar a good choice for drifting? I found one for $30. The other choice I prefer is Tanabe rear sway bar $165.

I read the website, but the HICAS sway bar is 21mm thick. Is that good enough for producing more oversteer?

Thanks!

Your question is too vague. It will be thicker than stock but no one will know if it's "enough". Being enough or not depends on the rest of your setup

I did this on my last car. Keep in mind that it was tough to find bushings for the thicker bar. Nobody carried them in stock and I had to dig around.

You can always buy some bushings and just bore it out.

Old school method works too, not sure how long that lasts though.
1. wrap electrical tape around the bar until you get to the right thickness to be secured by the bushing bracket.
2. that's it.
