So, the car is pretty much done. I need to track down an issue with the power or ground to the gauge cluster and address the paint someday, but the car runs, drives, is reliable and is completely put together.

Oh yeah, and it's for sale. $16k, no BS, no fucking around, that's my bottom dollar. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you the full rundown. Yeah it's cheap, I don't mess around when it comes to selling things.

this engine is capable of getting high 20s, even low 30s with the 6th gear in the T56... still may be cheaper to ship it rather than drive it, but it should do well. My buddy with a zo6 is getting 31.3 mpg right now and the FD is almost as aerodynamically pleasing as the z06 so I would guess probably 28-29ish.

Thanks for all the compliments!!

will it make a drive from NY to CA?

Seriously.

I have no doubt it'd be reliable, but, personally, I'd rather ship a car, even if it meant flying out to look at it and then shipping it back. I'm just nervous about those things though...

Anyway, I drove it back and forth to my dad's garage to store it over the winter - 150 miles each way without a hiccup. It's no 3,000 mile journey, but it's something.

I've seen low-mid 20s with some quite spirited backroads driving mixed with highway. I have no doubt it'd get mid-high 20s with pure highway. It does have 4.10 gears, so that hurts economy a bit compared to most stock LS1 cars that get 3.23 or 3.4x gears.

HELP! section of Advance auto. I measured the holes with a set of calipers and then sized up trim plugs to fit. Sanded the tops and painted with color-matched paint.
