Engine placement, pix and measurements

Interested in sharing how your engine sits and what mounts you're using?

I can post my V8 measurements if anybody is interested. Any other V8 guys want to share?

Stock single cam KA in an S13 for reference. Sitting on blown stock mounts so it will be slightly higher with new mounts.

I measured 2 parts: a) from the flat part of the core support where the radiator touches to the front lip of the valve cover where the valve cover meets the head; b) from the valve cover gasket to the firewall ledge.

I'll measure my V8 in a minute.

Same measurement on the V8. 14.5" on measurement a) measured to the front of the block, and 7" on measurement b) from the top of the block to the firewall ledge.
