I searched but seem like no one really answer the question..

I was wondering if the 3" piping exhaust with cat in mid but no cat in back going to loss the low end torque on the NA KADE??

Some people said 3" is way too much for the NA and they said 2.5" is better to hold up the power.

I really want to find out the answer on this!!! :bigok:

search mange.
theres a lot of people reporting gains with 3 inch, as well as people reporting losses.

from what i've seen the consensus is to go to 3 inch and fugheddaboutit

I would say stay with the 2.5 max for the NA KADE better. I used to have Megan straigh with cat on my NA and it is damn loud!!! got pull over for that Megan F***!! and dont felt any giant on power. Now I have HKS-Hi power 2.5 catback quiet and looks good.

if you put that on an auto..yes you will lose power.

When I had a 3" I noticed some topend gain on the highway, but did loose some torque if I were to try to launch my car. Now I'm running a 2.5 and I didn't loose any torque and gained a little topend, but not as much.

That's just my buttdyno though.

not loud at all, i use to have the na ghetto setup which consists of s14 exhaust manifold, 3in sr downpipe, 3in test pipe, and hks hi-power 80mm which is roughly 3.25" and it was deep, not loud, i loved it. made power, i made more than my buddy with the same setup except he had a 2.5"

i have a ghetto 3" to 3.5" pipe that i made.

it feels normal i guess?

i honestly didn't feel any gains over stock. haha.

actually, at first i was running it with a test pipe, then i put the stock cat back in and it felt faster.

yea i dont know.

yeah i say just use stock exhaust put a test pipe on that bish...and throw some blast pipes =]...i have an apexi turbo cat...3.75" piping...yes yes its huge ! and to huge for an n/a ka....back pressure is pretty much nothing...andd loss of some torque !
