I wanted to get my handles shaved and soloniods to open the doors. My roomate has it on his truck, and it looks great. I realize this would be difficult on the S14 because of the "ledge" in the metal that runs through the door handle. If anyone has done this with successful results I would love to see pictures of it.

If you plan to go to the track with your car, they won't let you on it. No doorhandles is considered unsafe, so you can't get on the track. But if you're just cruisin around town, it's up to you.
I've personally only seen a s14 with shaved handles and it looks wierd.

one of my "ricey" firends has a 97 GS Spyder Eclipse with Hyrdos, Neons, and your shaved door handles. Well, one night Ryan's battery went dead, so there isn't any way to get into the car, or pop the hood. So after a few hours of contemplating, he came to the conclusion that he was going to have to bust out his window to get into his car, and that's what he did. So in my opinion, don't do it.
