I have had my car less than 48 hours and my clutch started slipping. My dad wants to bring it to the local Goodyear to get it fixed(and since I'm 16, even though I bought, what he says goes). Do you think that the Goodyear we'll do a good job? Also, should I go ahead and get the clutch from autozone because I doubt that the Goodyear as clutches just laying around? And last, how much do you guess this will cost me??? Thanks.......JG

Goodyear? No way. When my clutch died, it was literally in the parking lot of a garage mechanic. The kind that usually deals with domestics. Lemme tell you, that was stupid. I lost over $800 on a $500 job, my car kept breaking, and I got seriously pissed.
Find a mechanic that knows Nissans, or atleast Imports.
As for the clutch, most mechanics will buy one from Napa anyway. You may be best going to a tranny shop actually.
The clutch pedal can be adjusted, so maybe that is out of whack?

I'd definately agree on getting to a mechanic that knows nissans. It's a good idea to have them check out the hydraulic system as well when you have the clutch replaced. As far as what part to buy, I'd go for a SPEC clutch kit from Enjuku Racing. It'll end up costing about the same as a stock clutch, but since it's aftermarket it's going to hold up longer with more abuse than a stock clutch.
