I got a neal turning brake from ebay. cut it in half for a hydro e brake...

I need a 1 way valve to install in line between hand brake and master...
for a s13 of course...any help?

I googled it...
call every parts place in my neck of the woods!
I know there has got to be a 1 way valve to toss in line, I CANT FIND! IT!

EDIT!
A 1 way checked valve!

Wouldn't this work better in the Tech section?

You'd get more advice.

Just a suggestion.

I guess...mods wanna move?
I just wanna make skid marks that is all. with both tires via a big fucking hand brake.

I heard of people using slave cylinders for hydro e-brakes! you mkight want to look into that.

luke did a write up and install deal a few years back on hydraulic handbrake.. might want to search it out... it was very easy setup to do and not too costly...

any one...

I will pay you!!!!!!!!!!!
I have it all installed...
I would think it had a valve in it... maybe the other side was the part valved? I should swap it to that one...FUK!!!!!!

I hate being cheap sometimes... not really.

I was thinking that too lol

If you put a one way valve in that system then once you pressurize that line and it flows past the check valve for that line it will stay pressurized cuz of the check valve unless you have a relief valve installed after the check valve

yeah you cant really plumb the system up like that. if your using a regular brake cylinder on hydro handbrake, then you need secondary e-brake caliper.

if you want to use it with the existing brake, then you need a slave cylinder from a staging brake, so that you can plumb it inline with the existing rear brakes.

you helped alot...thanks.

you guys are such wiseass's
use your head...You think that wasnt thought off...

DO NOT POST IF YOUR AN ARSE HOLE! with nothing but shit to lay down.

a neal turnoing brake was used... A CNC! brake. but it was cut in half and now I have 2! it should have bolted in and been fine!?
dunno tho!

I was gonna run dual calipers BUT I can get a new cnc brake for 99
I got the setup I have for like 50 so 2 for 50!?
well see...
I am stubborn and will make it happen.

can you throw up a picture of the setup you have....i think it would aid in coming up with a good solution.

your problem sounds similar to what i ended up with. i just found a different cylinder to bolt to the cnc brake frame, by far the easiest solution i could come up with...im always kinda weary of ghetto rigging rigging brake stuff cause you have to trust it to stop your car later.

I think I bought a bad hand brake from EBAY!!!!! no?

It is leaking internally...
I am gonna take it apart and replace the seals...see how it goes...
It has to have a 1 way check valve internally...or it wouldnt work...I guess the seal is gone and was leaking back into master...now that its in car and has sat for a few days I can see a small bit of fluid on the base of cylinder...

oh well, live and learn...this time being cheap took longer, but well worth it if I EVER GET ER! DONE!:mepoke:

he obviously didnt think out his master plan fully. first thing that went thru my head was what you and mcrusselpants said.

what are you talking about.

stop cutting up whatever peice of shit brake you bought.

buy the hand brake from driftworks or get a K-sport and put a wilwood master in it.

done.

not rocket science.

there is no way to use a one way valve to plumb in a second master cylinder.

the leaking fluid you saw was from leaving the lines pressurized, eventually it will leak back past the seals, master cylinders are only designed to hold pressure for a certain period of time

Look at this pix and think about it for a second.
