guys whats up i have an sr fully built and i am using a stage 4 spec d clucth 6 puck unsprung. the clucth is really really aggressive, so last nite me and my boy lock it up and when i banged 3rd the car got swirly in da rear and clank cllank the tranny broke underneath. the whole rear of tranny shattered where driveshaft goes in at.. what do u guys think about this clucth and has anyone had a similar problem...

btw this is second tranny first one was an sr tranny and i twisted the splines and this tranny is a ka w/ sr bell housing and shattered the rear wtf???

well how much power are you putting down?
What diff are you running and what size tires are on it?

need more info on ur setup

the has not been dynoed since microtech has been in the car made 397 on old haltech at 19 psi now im at 22psi car has 1 piece drive shaft, j30 diff and im on some bs street tires and now on 60-1 before t3/t4 50 trim

I'm going to have to pull the proverbial "pictures or it didn't happen." Didn't want to, but you know how things are.

I will post pix when I pull the tranny believe me it happened and this is my second tranny and I would not start a thread if I was bullshiting. Y would I just go around saying fucked the tranny if I didn't I'm not looking for cool points I want to know if ppl had problems with agressive clutches

your 1 piece driveshaft is the problem sir.

put the OE two piece back in and i'll bet you a candy bar your trannies last ALOT longer.
