I am swapping my SR to KA
i will get the wiring harness from KA, but i dont have the tranny wiring harness. I am just wondering does the SR tranny wiring harness same as KA's?

NO, you can make it work, but it will be more trouble than sourcing a KA lower harness.

Question is what year KA engine/tranny and going into what chassis? OBD-II SUCKS!!!
PS: Depending on the year, there's atleast 1 more sensor on a KA tranny compared to an SR. 2 if you have an OBD-II tranny.

sr is legal here in obd1 cars :fawk:
to the OP: the lower harness used on your SR should be a KA harness. if it was done correctly all you will need to do is re-splice the ka sensor pigtails where they have been replaced with sr pigtails, unless the sensors themselves were swapped in which case you are home free.
