what would be the ideal tire size for stock 96 se wheel, with no the struts and not a lot of difference in speedometer.

205/55-16 or 225/50-16.  225/50-16 is as wide as I'd go.

205/55/16 is already a little wide for the 6" wide rims... if they're 6.5" wide, I would go up to 225/50. If they are indeed only 6" wide though, I wouldn't go farther than 205/55/16, but some may want to bulge a little and go with 215/50 or 55. I think 225 is going a little farther than it's safe to on a 6" wide rim.

if you have an S13 with 15" wheels, I'd stick with 195/60 or 205/60. Don't go 215 or 225- it's only a 6" wide wheel!

I thought SE rims were 16x7? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>

16"x6.5" for the S14 SE. &nbsp;15"x6" for all S13 and S14 base.

The S14 SE rims are 16x6.5", there are actually a 16x7" version of these rims, but they came on the R33 skylines (JDM only). &nbsp; You could probably get them, but why waste the money on these rims when there are so many better options out there?

Thanks for the correction, guys.
I'd stick with 215/50/16 or 225/50/16 as the widest tires on them. 225 might be pushing it a little, though.
"proper" would (I think?) be 205/55/16.
Cheers!

Right now I have 205/55/16. &nbsp;Would there be any great advantages to going 215/50/16? &nbsp; And would there any rub issues on the struts?
