Reverse light issue

could someone help me on how i would rewire or how to make my reverse light for my s14 work? when i bought it, the reverse light never was on when i went into reverse. i was told by some people that the problem was that i went from auto to manual. so because of this, could someone please help me and tell me how to rewire my reverse light so it will work... thank you

First get a FSM with a wiring diagram and harness layouts. Find the reverse switch on the transmission, it's a two prong connector, and then find the connector near the engine bay fuse box, i think it's the 2nd or 3rd one down, and connect them. Refer to the fsm for exact locations of the connectors.

Green and black, second plug. Same as every other 240SX, info found on over a dozen sites online.

I just checked my car, it's the 3rd connector down next to the fuse box, pins 3 and 5, count counter clockwise from top left if you're looking at the pins.
