Driveshaft Help

I have searched and could not find the information i was looking for. Here are the mods that I have so one has more detailed information when I get to my question.

91 S13 Coupe - (Non-ABS)
RB20det
R32 Crossmember
5 Speed Transmission - (Has the Spline still in it)
Skyline Differential - (ABS)

I sold the stock Driveshaft so I do not know how long the Driveshaft needs to be.

Here is the question:
It is basically what to measure to get the length of the actual Driveshaft that a shop needs? I want to make sure I am giving them the right length before I pay to have them make the Driveshaft and I somehow do not do it right. A picture would help a ton.

I measured from the end of the Spline that was in the transmission to the inner part where the differential connects to the Driveshaft. The length I got was 47.5".

hmmm, look in the advertisers section for the shop making all the solid drive shafts. i know they will know. from what i remember you are supposed to measure from the center of the u joints on the diff to the tranny, but dont quote me on that.

yeah, i wish i had not sold my darn driveshaft. at the time, i thought i wouldn't have any problems getting another one. haha.

one learns a lot when they build a car from the ground up.
